From Generation to Generation Reflections Inspired by the 12th International LCJE Conference
By Christiane Jurik

The Lausanne Consultation on Jewish Evangelism (LCJE) is a network that is well known among people involved in Jewish evangelism. It was established in 1980, with Dr. Arnold Fruchtenbaum, the founder of Ariel Ministries, assuming the role of Director of the North American Regional Division for the initial seven-year period. Ever since, Ariel Ministries has participated in both regional and international
LCJE conferences. The 12th International Conference took place in Poland
this year, and both Dr. Tim Sigler and his wife had the opportunity to attend.
As mentioned, the LCJE is a network and not an organization. Networking is
an important part of my work as Editor-in-Chief of this magazine, and that
is the reason Dr. Fruchtenbaum sent me as well. The following report reflects in great part my personal experience but also the words of Dr. Dan Sered, President
of LCJE and Chief Operating Officer at Jews for Jesus, who gave the opening
address of the conference.
